Irene – The Immigrants’ Poem

“Irene’s Theme” by Robert Frost is a wonderful poem about the immigrants to America that settled here many years ago. It is a classic example of American humor, with a lot of good, old-fashioned wisdom.

The author, Robert Frost, was a famous poet. His most famous book was “The Elements of Life” and many of his poems have been included in schools across the country.

Irene is a beautiful woman. She is shown here as a successful businesswoman. She has a big house, nice car and expensive furniture. But behind this beauty is a soul that is not so pretty nor so rich. She struggles to get by and barely makes enough money to support herself and her daughter. Her attitude toward immigrants is cynical and sad.

Frost’s poem is a lovely description of a typical American life for an immigrant. Immigrants come here seeking a better life. They come from different countries to fulfill a need for education, a better way of life or to follow the destiny of their parents have planned for them. Many come to America with dreams of changing lives through education and making a better future for themselves and their families.

“Irene” is about the immigrant’s journey to freedom. Frost wrote this poem while he was on his way to become a doctor. He would experience many hardships while helping to save his own life and that of his beloved wife.

Frost wrote this poem while he was penniless.

He would go to the streets of Boston to beg for food and work. Eventually he would be given a job as a printer in a printing office. This was a very humble beginning and turned his life into one of great achievement and happiness.

“Irene” is a wonderfully written poem by Robert Frost. It is about hard-working people who want to achieve a better life for themselves and their families. The poem is about a man named Jake who wants to escape the wages of a dead wife and return home to live with his sister and children. The poem describes how when they get to their destination all they find are the dead bodies of their friends who were killed in a road accident. The immigration laws in America has made it possible for many to make this dream come true.

“Irene” by Robert Frost has a touching ending. When the poem was read at a funeral it brought everyone at the funeral joy and happiness. When the poet’s body was present at the service it was covered with flowers by the crowd. The poem “Irene” makes us proud of immigrants and their struggles to reach freedom and happiness.

“Irene” can also be read as a eulogy for a recently departed loved one. We all know how hard it is to grieve a death. Frost knew how difficult it was because he had lost his own father when he was very young. His father always told him to never give up and that his dream was real, even if it wasn’t big.

Now that Robert Frost has passed his dream will finally come true and you too will hear his beautiful song “Irene”.

“Irene” by Robert Frost is a great example of how the written word can move mountains. Even if you think that nothing great will ever come from your words you must first write these powerful words. You can use any poem from any poet.

Some poems inspire you and lift your soul. Then there are poems that you write and put down only to find out later you are able to cry with joy. That’s what Robert Frost did with his poem “Irene”.

Now we have presidents and politicians who want to help immigrants. Yet they do not have the wisdom to do what Robert Frost did for immigrants in his time. If we are not wise in our country about these things, who will? Someday we may have forgotten “Irene” but let us not forget how important the poem “Irene” is to the human spirit.

Immigrants like Robert Frost and others have given us much knowledge about what is really important in life. So help us to keep our spirit high and remember what really matters in this great country. Write down the poem Irene and pass it on to as many people as possible. Consider it the duty of all Americans to help one another keep our spirit alive.
